In the fading light of the forest as the night fast approached, Ana looked up at the large looming outline of the manor, not answering right away. But she was sure. She closed her eyes for a moment, silently paying her respects before she did open her mouth to voice the final instruction.
This is right. They would want this.
She turned to her sister beside her, gave her the slightest nod and reached for her gloved hand, giving it a small reassuring squeeze. She smiled at the woman, a faint smile, but still, it was there.
